DH-6920S Water-based Anti-settling Agent

Product Description:

DH-6920S is a water-based polyamide wax rheology modifier. It is a thixotropic paste made by pre-dispersing, swelling, and activating a specially modified polyamide wax in deionized water and a co-solvent. When used in water-based coating systems, it effectively builds thixotropic viscosity, controls sag and prevents settling, and helps align aluminum powder and metallic pigments.

Features:

Usage and dosage:

Dosage: 0.5-5.0%;

It is recommended to prepare DH-6920S into a 20-30% pre-gel before adding. It can be added at any stage of the paint making process.

A high-speed disperser should be used for dispersion; avoid high-shear equipment such as sand mills.

When preparing the pre-gel, disperse at a speed of 1500 RPM for 20-30 minutes. During dispersion, ensure that the dispersing plate is below the liquid level to prevent air bubbles from entering.

To maximize product performance, it is recommended to adjust the system pH to ≥8.

Packaging and Precautions:

18 kg/drum;

Store away from heat and ignition sources in a cool, well-ventilated area at 5°C-35°C. Store in a sealed container for 6 months.
